Conditions TreatedAcupuncture balances and energizes the whole person; therefore it is useful in treating most conditions as well as preventing illness and maintaining health. The following is a partial list of conditions treated by acupuncture.
TreatmentWhat is most important is that you feel better. Each visit will be relaxing in itself. Some people begin to feel significant improvements after only 3 treatments; most after 5 to 6 visits. The most common theories regarding how acupuncture works are Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Both are employed here. NeedlesAcupuncture needles, known as filaments, are no wider than a strand of hair. They are sterile, disposable and used only once. When a filament if placed, you may feel moving energy, tingling, mental clarity, great calmness or nothing at all. Patients feel relaxed and energized both during and after treatment. |
